If you had told us this time last year that we would be seeing Katie Holmes as the Celebrity Denim Icon 2008 I wouldn't have believed you.
However something happened in 2008 and suddenly she was photographed wearing a different pair of totally on-trend jeans each week. She appeared in media all over the place and was responsible (along with buddy Victoria Beckham) for the rise of the boyfriend jean.
She was seen in all the hottest styles whether it be ripped jeans, boyfriend jeans from or skinny jeans and there were even rumours that she would be launching her own denim collection. So for services to denim in 2008 Katie Holmes is the Celebrity Denim Icon of the Year.
